Chloe Turpin completed her Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology at the University of La Réunion, France, in 2022. Her research focuses on the impact of damaged/altered erythrocytes’ interaction with endothelial cells on vascular biology.
She is working on the endothelium-on-a-chip technology to help demonstrate the efficiency of specific drugs in preventing vaso-occlusive crisis in sickle cell disease.
In addition to her research interests, she likes to broaden her horizons and enrich her perspective on the world by traveling and learning about new cultures and languages.
